Is there anything you recommend bringing?
There are a few items that you don't want to forget: towels are not provided in cottage bathrooms or the pool area. Some like to bring there own life jackets for the canoes, cayaks, and paddleboats or fishing. There is also a few large fields so many like to toss a baseball or football around. We have some sports equipment but you'll want your own glove. Also, the trail comes right by the resort drive and is paved, so you can bring roller blades or bikes.
Can we bring our own firewood?
Firewood must come from within 30 miles of the resort due to pest control. Firewood can be purchased here from the resort in $10 loads.
Do the cottages and campsites have fire rings?
Wherever you are staying on the resort, there will be a fire ring nearby. There is also a firepit at the end of the beach called Stanley Point. This is a good place for a fire for lodge room guests, and is open for any guests to use.
What is the American Plan?
